FOLD Chair
FOLD is a sleek lounge chair with edge. Cut from steel, it is not only an exercise in geometry, but craft: utilizing specific folds to smooth edges and support forces, while leaving crisp lines and a sharp profile.

The FOLD explores the process of design and fabrication in the development of a custom crafted chair towards a manufacturable prototype.
From iterations developed through a series of drawings and card models, to CNC and manual forming techniques in the steel workshop, FOLD brings form to functionality.
